About the surgery

Welcome

We are located on Barton Road just in front of Lostock College and serve the whole of the Stretford area as well as parts of Urmston.

Our team is made up of the following;

2 GP Partners

A number of trainee GPs

1 Practice Nurse

2 Community Paramedics

Clinical Pharmacists

1 HCA (health care assistant)

We also have our Practice Manager, an Operations Manager, a Medicines Manager, a Data Quality Manager, Secretaries and a team of Patient Coordinators.

History

Lostock Medical Centre moved from the old Bennett Street Surgery which served Stretford residents for over 20 years. We officially opened in September 2011 with the majority of the existing Bennett Street patients relocating with us and a significant number of new local residents have since registered with us.

We currently serve just over 8600 patients at the practice and we are very happy to continue welcoming new patients on to our list.
